Staff success in Wales Care Awards

Adele Ashman Nomination for Exceptional Newcomer

We are delighted that another member of Integra's team will be receiving a Wales Care Award this October.  This follows success in previous years in categories such as "Manager of the Year", "Excellence in Mental Health", "Outstanding Service" and "Dignity in Care".

Adele said: “I know it’s a cliché but things like this don’t usually happen to me, I was very emotional when I found out I’d been shortlisted. I’m a little nervous about the ceremony itself but to be honest it’s an achievement just to be there. This means the world to me. My colleagues are really proud and are rooting for me.”

In accepting her nomination Adele also went on to say “This job has changed me as a person, it’s a very rewarding job and I feel like I’m making a difference. We’re helping people gain self-esteem and self-worth”.

Haydn Osborne, Regional Service Manager of Integra, who nominated Adele, also paid tribute to her saying “Adele is the first employee I have nominated for the category of ‘Exceptional Newcomer’. She has become a valuable member of the team who can always be relied upon. Adele does not know her worth and the impact she makes on the client’s lives. I only wish she joined the team sooner.”

Andrea O'Loughlin, Operations Director, commented "We are all proud of what Adele has achieved as part of the Integra team in Ty Nant and that her personal contribution has been recognised nationally in this way.  Congratulations Adele - the award is thoroughly well deserved and we wish you the very best of luck in the ceremony itself".
